JAMMU, Mar 6: Police today booked a self-styled doctor and also seized his medical shop in RS Pura.
Police spokesman said that, a self styled doctor identified as Janak Raj, son of Nand Lal of RS Pura injected an out-dated injection to one Sukhdev Singh, son of Devi Ditta of Chohara.
“Due to this, the lower portion of Sukhdev Singh paralyzed, he said, adding that a case under FIR No 31/13 under Sections 337/ 338 RPC has been registered at RS Pura police station against the self styled doctor.
Police party conducted raid at his medical shop at RS Pura, but by that time, the accused managed to flee, spokesman said, adding that his shop has been seized and manhunt has been launched to arrest him.
