Jammu, May 20: J&K Branch of the NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, organized a seminar on Recent Amendments and Circulars under Income Tax Law and GST-Practical Case Study on Jammu & Kashmir.
CA  Kapil Goel and CA Atul Kumar Gupta (Central Council Member-ICAI) were the speakers on Recent Amendments and Circulars under Income Tax Law and GST-Practical Case Study on Jammu & Kashmir respectively.
In the First Technical Session, CA Kapil Goel updated the members about the recent amendments and circulars under Income Tax Law and answered various queries raised by the members on the subject.
Later on, in the second technical session CA Atul Kumar Gupta firstly launched the website and first edition of e-newsletter of J&K Branch of NIRC of the ICAI and gave the brief outlook on the revenue gains and other benefits which shall accrue to the Jammu & Kashmir State by the implementation of the GST. The members had a number of queries regarding the implementation of GST in the state which were substantially addressed by the Guest Speaker.
Secretary of the branch, CA Ajay Kumar Gupta, delivered the inaugural address and welcomed the guests.
CA  Ashwani Kumar Khajuria, Chairman of the Branch, and CA Sudhir Kumar Arora, Vice-Chairman of the branch thanked the guest speakers for their valuable time. They also thanked the members for participating in the seminar and making it a fruitful event which will later on help in successful implementation of GST when introduced in the State of Jammu & Kashmir.
