SRINAGAR, Jan 19: Semifinals position has been cleared in the Winter Knockout Football Tournament, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the first quarterfinal played today, Edgah Football Academy defeated Barzulla Football Academy by one goal to nil (1-0). Goal scorer was Faizan, who netted it in the 20th minute of the match.
In the 2nd quarterfinal match, Novelty Football Academy got better of Youth Development Football Academy by three goals to one (3-0). The goal scorers were Zubair, Shahid Nazir and Saqib.
In the 3rd quarterfinal match, Bemina Academy defeated AMC Zadibal Academy by three goals to one. Faizan scored all three goals for Bemina , while for AMC Zadibal, Tahseen pelted the lone goal.
In the 4th quarterfinal of the day, Burnhall FB Academy defeated Islamia College Football Academy by 3 goals to nil (3-0). For Burnhall, the goals were scored Naish, Yahya and Ali.
