Semis position cleared in Jammu District Kabaddi Championship

JAMMU, Oct 7: Semifinals lineup has been drawn in the Jammu District Kabaddi Championship, being organized by J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association at  Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.  KV No-1 Gandhi Nagar, Govt College for Women, Parade, Jammu, Vishwa Bharti Akalpur and Govt Girls High School, Nowabad have qualified for the last four stage.
The chief guest was Balbir Singh, Chairman Jammu Marketing Society Ltd. and Director J&K Housing Corporation, who interacting with players on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Inderjeet Sharma, District president, Ravi Singh, Manager Indoor Stadium, Anil Modi  organizing secretary,  Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary and Surinder  Mohan Gupta.
Earlier, in boys section, Bhartiya Shiksha Kendra defeated KV No-1 by 3 points, Vishav Bharti  School got better of Lord Shiva School by 39 points, RS Pura  School won the match by 27 points  from GHS School Nagrota, Playway School won the match by 20  points from  KV Bantalab, Choudhary Kabaddi School defeated Bright Candle School by 26 points and Lord Shiva Day Boarding Sr Secondary School prevailed over Guru Nanak  Hr Sec School by 19 points.
In girls section, GCW Parade won the match by 5 points from KV No-1 Gandhi Nagar, Vishav  Bharti School won the match by 9  points against Govt  Girls  School Nagrota, Lord Shiva School  drubbed Govt Girls School Nagrota by 38 points, GCW Parade defeated Stephan International    School by 34 points and KV No-1 Gandhi Nagar trounced Govt Girls School Nagrota by 9 points.
