Sena demands restoration of internet services

JAMMU, Aug 26: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray here today appealed to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik to immediately restore internet services in J&K.
Talking to reporters here today Working President & State General Secretary Shiv Sena, Manish Sahni said though the Governor and his administration is claiming that situation in J&K is fast becoming normal yet there is silence about restoration of internet service.
He also said that internet has become a part of people’s lives due to which general public is suspicious of Government’s claims of normalcy.
Sahni said that people of Kashmir have accepted the abrogation of Article 370 and withdrawal of special status of J&K and the situation in Kashmir is also becoming normal so the Government should restore the internet services in J&K.
He further said that online payments have been badly affected in the absence of internet services.
Minakshi Chhibber, Shiv Sena Chairman, Rakesh Gupta; General Secretary, G.I Singh and others were also present in the press conference.
