JAMMU, Nov 30: Activists of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta took out a protest rally in the city against the dilapidated condition of Yogi Gate cremation ground.
Speaking on the occasion Gupta said that entire path leading to the cremation sheds at cremation ground has been dug and there is no place to walk.
He also said that because of the bad condition of the path the dead body has many times fallen from the pall bearers as their foot stumbled on broken walkway.
Shiv Sena leader also said that there is no proper water availability at the prominent cremation ground of the city.
He further said that concerned authorities should resolve the issue between contractors due to which work has been stalled for cremation ground upliftment.
Surjeet, Ramesh, Dinesh, Ajay, Krishan, Sham Lal, Brijesh, Bantu, Nikku, Ajay, Abhishek and others were also present in the protest.
