CHENNAI, Nov 16:
A total of 174 players in the Men’s section and 63 in the women’s will vie for top honours in the HCL 79th Senior National Squash Championship beginning here tomorrow.
The total prize money on offer is Rs 8.8 lakh. The Men’s and Women’s Qualifying Rounds will be held from November 17 to 19 and the main draw matches for all events: would be held from November 20 to 23.
A press release from the Tamil Nadu Squash Rackets Association here on Thursday said in all 417 players from 26 states will be competing across 11 categories (men, women, pro-coach and masters in the age group of 35 to 70 years) in the event to be held under the aegis of the Squash Rackets Federation of India at the India Squash Academy here.
