In-service course for PRTs commence

JAMMU, May 31: A twelve days in-service training programme for PRTs commenced today at KV No 2 Jammu Cantt.
A total of 36 participants from various Vidyalayas of Jammu Region are participating in the training programme.
The programme was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by chief guest D R Meena, Assistant Commissioner KVS, Jammu, followed by Saraswati Vandana presented by the participants of KV No. 2 Jammu Cantt.
Course Director SK Srivastava, Principal KV Bhaderwah formally welcomed the guests and threw light on the purpose and importance of conducting In-service course for teachers. He briefed about action plan for 12 days programme.
Later, D R Meena interacted with the participants and tried to know their expectations from course.
The vote of thanks was presented by Rita Bhaskar, Officiating Principal KV No. 2 Jammu Cantt.
The programme proceeded with the group formation. The participants were divided in four groups namely Jhelum, Tawi, Chenab and Beas. During the post lunch session a pre-test was conducted to assess the existing knowledge of the teachers in their professional field.
