6th Jammu District Kickboxing C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Oct 14: Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President today underscored the significant career opportunities that sports offer to talented youth of the country.
The senior BJP leader was speaking during the closing ceremony of two-day 6th Jammu District Kickboxing Championship held at RM Public School Jammu. Rekha Mahajan, BJP District President Jammu South, was the guest of honour, while Rameshwar Mengi, Chairman RM Group of Institutions, Ajay Verma, President Kickboxing Association, Jammu among many others were also present on this occasion.
Yudhvir Sethi highlighted the initiatives taken by the Modi Government to promote sports across the country, with a special mention of the ‘Khelo India’ initiative. He said Khelo India has provided a platform for budding athletes from all corners of the country to showcase their talent.
The senior BJP leader also highlighted the remarkable achievements of India at the Asian Games 2023, where the nation secured 107 Medals. Rekha Mahajan emphasized that the sports sector in India is evolving rapidly, offering a wealth of career prospects for young talents. She urged the youth to explore these opportunities, stay focused on their goals, and work diligently to achieve success in their chosen sports.
