JAMMU, May 9: Asking younger generations to follow the path shown by historical personalities, State Prabhari Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha and Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi said the nation is indebted to those who have fought against the oppressions and gave their lives for the honour of their country.
He said Maharana Partap was one such stalwart who stood up for the cause of motherland.
He was speaking at the birth anniversary celebrations of great warrior of Mewar – Maharana Partap. The function was organised by Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha and Freedom Fighter Cell.
Yudhvir said real tribute to Maharana Partap is to work for the motherland and ensure that benefits of social and development initiatives launched by the Government reach to the last beneficiary living in remotest part of the country.
Convenor of the Cell Bharat Bhushan Sharma said special programs would be launched all across the State to make people at large and youth in particular conscious about sacrifices made by great warriors of the country.
While speaking on the occasion, general secretary Ajay Pargal highlighted the activities of the Morcha and called for channelizing youth energy towards nation building and working towards a society based on traditions, beliefs and a strong value system.
Senior leader Atma Ram, NEC member Parimoksh Seth, State Co-Convenor, Doctor Cell Dr. A.K. Kharu, State Vice-President Karan Sharma, Ashish Sareen, Bhanu Jasrotia, State Secretary Rahul Sharma, Ronik Sharma, District President Ajay Vaid, Inshant Gupta, Lovekesh Gondi, Keshav Chopra, Shodya Sharma, Ashok Mishra, Ajay Chalotra and Rinku Chauhan were among those who attended the celebrations.
