Sewa-II Power Station conducts Computer Training programme under CSR-SD

JAMMU, Aug 23: The Sewa-II Power Station of NHPC, Mashka (Jammu and Kashmir) imparted a special free Computer Training Programme through NIIT for school children from local Government schools located in the vicinity of its dam at Sarthali, Bani (J&K) under its Corporate Social Responsibility-Sustainable Development (CSR-SD) scheme.
The training was conducted for a total of 50 students. P.K. Langer, Chief Engineer – Incharge, Sewa-II Power Station handed over the Certificates of completion to the students at a special function organized at Sarthali, J&K. During the programme the students underwent a total of 36 hours of training in MS Office 2013. The parents and local authorities have highly appreciated NHPC’s gesture towards providing the computer training that would benefit the future of the students.
