KISHTWAR, Aug 18: J&K SFC Employees Union, Chenab valley held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of its president, Madan Lal Parihar, wherein they highlighted their demands.
The meeting urged the Chairman, J&K State Forest Corporation to intervene personally in mitigating the problems of the employees including release of their salaries for the month of July before ‘Janam Ashtami’.
The speakers also requested the management to ensure that the orders of time bound promotion with the required sanction already issued in favour of the Field Workers/Office Helpers be implemented at an earliest.
The union threatened to go on pen down strike for four days after ‘Janam Ashtami’ if their demands are not fulfilled.
Abdul Moomin, Nowshad Ali, AK Bhandari, MA Qazi, Narayan Dass, Roshan Lal, Jia Lal, Krishan Lal, Sewa Ram, Ajaz Ahmed and many others attended the meeting.
