POONCH, May 21: Shri Guru Niwas (SGN) School Poonch scripted a solitary goal win over SDS Public School Poonch in Jawahar Lal Nehru Cup qualifying hockey match, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, here today.
The lone goal was scored by Vishal Sharma in 20th minute of the match.
Guru Niwas School team was coached by Sham Lal Sharma, SAI hockey coach.
Makhan Lal, Principal HSS Poonch was the chief guest, while Nazir Charak ZPEO Poonch was the guest of honour.
The match was officiated by Pawan Kumar and Maninder Pal Singh. Winners Shri Guru Niwas team would participate in Hockey Tournament to held at Jammu.
