JAMMU, June 16: NSS Unit of Dogra College of Education organised a quiz competition on “Leadership and Personality Development” based on the life of Swami Vivekananda.
The competition was held among 50 NSS volunteers of the college on the direction of Programme Advisor’s Cell, NSS, New Delhi.
The questionnaire was objective based consisting of 40 multiple choice questions, however the time duration of the quiz was 50 minutes. Since the motive of the quiz was to acknowledge the biography of Swami Vivekananda so the questionnaire was analysed according to the personality and contributions of Swami Ji.
While speaking, Prof BD Damral, Director, Dogra College of Education said that leadership development refers to any activity that enhances the quality of leadership within an individual or organization.
Shefali Sharma, Principal, Dogra College of Education was also present.
In the competition, Shabnum Choudhary bagged the first position and Poonam Choudhary stood second, whereas Heena Slathia and Sonam Sharma shared the third position.
The panel of judges included Poonam Gupta, senior lecturer, Bela Thakhur, Academic Coordinator of the college and Rajni Manhas, Programme Officer, NSS Unit of Dogra College of Education.
