Shah to meet J&K BJP leaders

JAMMU July 4 : To review the performance of the coalition Government in the State and seek feed back on Party’s Mahasamprak Abhiyan, the BJP national President and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s close aide Amit Shah has convened a meeting of the entire BJP team from the State in Union Capital on July 12.
According to Party sources, the meeting will be also attended by Ram Lal National Organizational general secretary BJP and other senior leaders of the Party. It will decide the future course of action vis-a-vis Party’s strategy with the alliance partner PDP in the State, sources added.
The meeting will be held on July 12 at 27 Akbar Road New Delhi and all BJP ministers,  legislators, Party office bearers, district presidents and Prabharis of Party cells will attend it.
Sources said the nature of the meeting would be important in deciding party’s future strategy. “The BJP ministers in the Government (both of the Cabinet rank and of the MoS), MLAs, MLC, district presidents and other office bearers are attending the meet. “The meeting has been termed important by the Party High Command as it would seek feedback from the party leadership in Jammu and Kashmir about the status of coalition and party’s relations with the PDP. Also future course of action shall also be decided in the meet,” sources said.
However a Party spokesman while terming the meeting a routine matter said that Party National general secretary organization, Ram Lal has convened such meetings all over the country and tomorrow the meeting of Southern State will be held at Bangalore and on July 12 the meeting of J&K and other States will be held at New Delhi.
He said the meetings are being convened all over the country to review the Party’s Maha Samparak Abhiyan and PM’s Jeevan Suraksha Yojna to link with the same with Raksha Bandhan for its promotion. He said it is obvious when the national leadership will meet the leaders and ministers form State the working of coalition will also be come for discussion.
The BJP spokesman further said that the meet is aimed to strengthen the Party’s functioning in Jammu and Kashmir with the latest developments also being discussed by the party leadership.
Meanwhile to review the functioning of the coalition Government in the State and seek a feed back, the top ranking RSS leaders are visiting the State from July 14 to 16 and will hold deliberations with ministers, BJP leaders and Sangh activists of the State.
According to sources, RSS Sarkarivah who is second in Sangh hierarchy after the Sarsang Chalak, Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat, Seh Sarkarivahs Datatray Hoshbolay and Krishan Gopal Ji will be visiting the State on July 14. During their three days stay in Jammu they will have detailed deliberations with Prant Karikarni of RSS, BJP ministers and senior leaders including Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, organizational general secretary, Ashok Kaul, legislators and Sangh Karikarnis of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Besides the Sangh leaders will have detailed deliberations on the political developments in the State with the Prant Karikarni. They will also meet a group of journalists from the State on July 15 to seek their opinion.
The meetings will be held at Veer Bhawan here. The Sangh leaders will also discuss the latest developments with BJP ministers and leaders and the functioning of the coalition with them also.
Sources said that Sangh and BJP cadre are not satisfied with the functioning of coalition in the State and they will seek a complete feed back from both BJP cadre as well as Sangh cadre in this regard.
