MENDHAR, Jan 13: Shaheed Maj Amit Kumar Thenge inter-tehsil T-10 cricket tournament, organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) with cooperation of locals concluded at OP Hill Stadium, here today.
A total of eight teams participated in this tournament and the final match was played between 5 Stars and Jatt XI wherein former defeated the latter by 10 wickets. The winning team was awarded with a cash prize by the Army.
The civilians applauded the effort of the Army in organizing such activities which helped to generate a feeling of goodwill in the civil population, especially the youth.
