JAMMU, Jan 10: In the ongoing 18th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament 2024-25 at Mini Stadium Parade Ground, Jammu, Shaheen FC emerged victorious over Param FC with a 4-1 win in a dramatic tie-breaker after a goalless draw in regular time.
The match saw strong performances from Shaheen FC players, with Karun, Ayushman, Hizim and Azad each scoring a goal in the tie-breaker. Param FC’s sole goal was scored by Abhinav.
The match was attended by several prominent figures, including Ashok Kumar (Ex. Corporator Ward No. 4), David Masih (Football Coach), Yousaf Don (Organizing Secretary), Bhupinder Singh, Kamaljeet Kumar, and Rajesh Sumbria.
The refereeing team for the match included Ajay Singh, Ricky, Aman Sudan and Dheeraj Meenia. In an interesting twist, two foreign players were included in Param FC’s lineup for the match.
