JAMMU, Dec 14: Shaheen FC defeated Young Hero’s FC by 7 goals to 6 in the Christmas Gold Cup, being played at GGM Science College Ground, here today.
For Shaheen FC, 1st and 2nd goals were secured by Vikramjeet in the 13th and 40th minute of the game, while 3rd goal was netted by Ayushman in 69th minute of the game.
For Young Hero: 1st goal was scored by Pranav, 2nd and 3rd by Nitin Jamwal and the match ended with 3-3 goals draw. The match was decided by tie-breakers wherein Shaheen scored four goals, while Young Hero’s FC netted 3 goals.
Ajay Singh, Dil Bahadur, Aman Banothia and Dheeraj Menia were the referees of the match.
The first semi-finals will be played between J&K Bank and Lone Star FC tomorrow.
