SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Shalimar Football Club defeated Shining Star by three goals to one (3-1) in the ongoing J&K State Power Development Corporation Annual League Football Tournament 2013, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association, DFA Srinagar.
Tauseef scored the first goal in 16th minute to give Shalimar FC an early lead. However, Shining Star came back strongly and scored an equalizer in the 45th minute.
In the second half of the match, Shalimar FC boys dominated the proceedings and pelted back to back goals in 48th and 49th minutes of the match through Arsalan and Tauseef to finally win the match by three goals to one (3-1).
