SRINAGAR, June 7: Shalimar United Football Club defeated Soccer City Narkura by three goals to nil (3-0) to advance in the ongoing ‘B’ Division Football League Tournament, being organized by District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar at Polo Ground and Islamia College Ground, here.
Najeeb scored the first goal in 29th minute, while the second goal was netted by Junaid in 46th minute and Muneeb pelted the third goal in 49th minute of the match.
In another match, DPS School held Celtic Football Club (1-1) goal draw. Ubair Ali scored for DPS in 20th minute, while Faizal netted goal for Celtic FC in 25th minute.
Meanwhile, at Islamia College, Sahara FC defeated Emman FC by three goals to nil (3-0) and the goal scorers were Zubair, Sahil and Imran.
