JAMMU, Mar 30: Sharika CC and FCC emerged winners of the ongoing Navreh Premier League-2 by defeating their opponents including Vitasta and JMCC, here today.
In the first match, Sharika trounced Vitasta.
Vitasta won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first, Sharika scored 173 by losing six wickets in stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Vitasta managed to make 159 runs with the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Vivek Suri was declared as man of the match.
In 2nd match which was played between JMCC and FCC. Batting first, JMCC scored 114 runs by losing nine wickets in 20 overs. In reply, FCC chased the target by losing only two wickets in 12.4 overs and won the match by eight wickets.
R.S Chib was declared as man of the match for clinching four wickets.
Ashwani Razdan, MD Prince Constructions was the chief guest of the event.
