JAMMU, Feb 24: Vice-Chairman of State Advisory Board for Development of Kissan and MLA Nowshera R S Sharma today chaired a meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti of Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani.
Block Medical Officer of the SDH gave a detailed brief about the agenda items. Threadbare discussions were held regarding development works under progress and future requirements for improvements, renovation, repairs, face-lifting, construction of toilet complexes, waiting sheds for patients and attendants, construction of Doctors quarters, canteen facilities in the hospital premises, starting of OPD by AYUSH doctors and laying of foundation stone of trauma hospital already sanctioned for Sunderbani.
Mr Sharma appreciated the concern shown and dedication of the committee members for the improvement of Medicare facilities of the Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani. He issued directions to the BMO for maintaining adequate supplies of medicines, especially lifesaving drugs, anti-rabies vaccines, glucose drip sets, medikits etc. He also stressed for proper functioning of ultra-sound machine and hygiene in the hospital besides punctuality of the doctors and paramedics.
Mr Sharma also sanctioned one new ambulance for the hospital, out of his Constituency Development Fund.
