Sharma received memorandums and inter-acted personally with the delegation members to know their problems and grievances and assured them that the Centre and State Governments were committed to resolve all issues including problems faced by the border dwellers.
The border people raised the demands like construction of bunkers, increase in compensation for casualties and damages due to Pakistan shelling and firing and some other issues.
A number of local organizations raised the issues of development in Poonch district, which, they said, has been neglected.

Tomorrow, Sharma will meet delegations in border district of Rajouri.
