Sharma takes issue of shortage of teaching staff to DSE

JAMMU, Sept 28: Senior BJP leader and District Development Councillor, Suresh Sharma here today met Director School Education (DSE) Jammu and raised the issue of teaching staff shortage in various schools falling in Chhamb Assembly Constituency.
The BJP leader informed the DSE that Government Higher Secondary Schools in Nardi Bala, Kathar and Chowki Choura lack proper number of lecturers and there was also shortage of Head Masters at Government High Schools in Maira Maindran, Ghar, Barui, Gagal and Dhanna Chappdi.
Sharma also said that due to shortage of teaching staff in these schools a large number of students of Maira Mandrian and Chowki Choura blocks were suffering.
He said that people in Chhamb Assembly Constituency are mostly poor have only option to get their wards admitted in government schools for education.
The BJP leader stressed upon the DSE to immediately take effective steps and get all the vacant posts filled for the benefit of students.
The Director assured that every step will be taken to post the required teaching staff in the schools mentioned by the BJP leader.
