JAMMU, Aug 23: Senior National Conference leader and MLA Nowshera, Radhay Sham Sharma today urged the Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla to issue directions to Rajouri district administration for survey and assessment of huge losses suffered by the farmers and other people due to incessant rains in Nowshera and Sunderbani blocks.
In a statement, Mr Sharma said that standing maize crops and several houses have been damaged due to incessant rains and demanded early disbursement of compensation to all the affected farmers and poor persons.
