JAMMU, Feb 23: Outplaying RK Sharma of National Sample Survey (NSS) in the summit clash, Shashi Jamwal of Survey of India (SoI) won the Chess Tournament as part of the ongoing Indoor Games, being organized by the Sports Committee of Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee at the Recreation Complex of IIIM, Canal Road, here.
The Competitions are being organized under the supervision Ashok Chadha, AG,s Office, Sham Lal, CWC, Rajinder Gupta, Vikram Abrol and Ravinder Kumar Wali, IIIM.
While Shashi Jamwal defeated RK Sharma in the final, the third place mattch was played between Sanjeev Kumar, Survey of India and Vishal Gupta, Custom Department, wherein Sanjeev Kumar emerged winner.
The final matches were officiated by BS Bhan, NSSO, Anoop Magotra, AG Office and Deepak Balotra, SoI.
