JAMMU, Dec 7: Emphasizing the need for early release of 10 percent DA, which is due from July last, the National Mazdoor Conference president Subash Shastri today appealed the Chief Minister to announce the same in next Cabinet meeting.
Addressing a meeting of NMC workers at Marh, the Shastri pointed out that employees and pensioners were waiting for the release of DA for the last five months. The Government should take an early decision in this regard for strengthening the bonds between State and its employees, he added.
The NMC president also demanded increase in emoluments of daily wagers to Rs ten thousand by opting a clear cut policy for regularization of daily wagers serving in various Government Departments since long.
Early amendment in SRO 64, removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, immediate release of 3rd installment of 6th Pay Commission arrears, enhancement of Medical Allowance etc were also demanded by Shastri.
