KATRA, Sept 25: The two-day Hasya Vyang (Laughter) show organized by Katra Press Club as part of Navratra Festival concluded here today.
The event was sponsored by Ashoka Hotel, Pallvi Group, Swagat Tent house, Bank of India, Northern Railway and Vipin Sharma.
The topper of the show Shazi Khan of Jammu was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 15000 along with trophy while Prince of Himachal Pardesh clinched second prize of Rs. 10000 whereas Rs. 5000 cash award was given to Saloni of Punjab who stood at third place among 13 participants from various states who took part in the event.
The show was adjudged by Theatre artist Aditya Bhanu, Comedian Satya Rishi and renowned Punjabi actor Teji Sindu.
The other participants were Ishan Sanmotra, Amit, Anil Chingari, Manpreet, Sonu Dhanna, Vinay Sharma, Arun Jalotra, Dharm Pul, Vijay Chandrama etc.
The Tourism department, district administration and Shrine Board had made elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of the event.
Pertinently, this is the eighth show organized at the base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine during the ongoing Navratra Festival which got great response from the people.
