Sheikh Fayaz reviews arrangements of 63rd National School Games

JAMMU, Dec 9: Director Youth Services and Sports, J&K, Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed reviewed the arrangements of 63rd National School Games Under-17 Boys Football Championship while chairing an impressive meeting of officers and officials of the department at Youth Hostel, Nagrota, here.
The Director asked the conveners of various committees to leave no stone unturned for smooth and successful conduct of this mega event.
He said about 20 teams from across the country will be participating in this sporting extravaganza, adding that all the requisite arrangements have been made for comfortable stay of the visiting contingents, besides the arrangements with regard to food and venues.
He said the opening ceremony of the Championship will be held at 12 noon on December 11, 2017, adding that Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh will be the chief guest and Minister of State for Transport and Sports, Sunil Kumar Sharma will be the guest of honour.
The Director further said that the State will also host a mega Wushu event after the completion of this Championship.
The Joint Directors of twin divisions along with the District Youth Services and Sports Officers of various districts were present on the occasion.
