JAMMU, Aug 24: The 3rd offline edition of ‘Newsletter’ of Shemford was launched by the dynamic personalities in a function at Shemford Futuristic School Birpur, here today.
The newsletter was launched by the chief guests, Sohail Kazmi eminent journalist and Member J&K Waqf Board and Pradeep Dutta, Bureau Chief Times Now and guests of honour including Ajeet Singh Soni, Managing Director DRS KIDS, Gandhi Nagar in the presence of School Academic Director, Vijay Puri and Vice-Principal, Sahrish Ismaily.
The event was hosted by anchors Kriti Singh and Gitish Dogra both the students of School who effortlessly grabbed praise for their oratory skills. The event started with Saraswati Vandana, followed by a welcome address by Sakshi Sharma, senior coordinator of the School and thereafter, highlights and the journey of the newsletter was explained by the editor-in-chief, Ankita Choudhary.
The event winded up with the words of wisdom and knowledge by our chief guests and guests of honour. Sohail Kazmi, in his address said that with our joint effort we need to take education further and should always try to improve for betterment and thanked the School’s management for making him a part of such an event.
Pradeep Dutta said that teachers are the real builders of a nation and character who show path to kids who are the future of the country, while Ajeet Singh Soni expressed regards to Academic Director, SFS Vijay Puri for inviting him for the launching ceremony of the newsletter.
This was followed by giving away mementoes by Academic Director Vijay Puri and vote of thanks by the Vice Principal.
