JAMMU, Feb 23: Shemrock International School, Bantalab celebrated annual day with pomp and show, here today.
The function started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Madan Lal Sharma, Member Parliament, which was followed by “Saraswati Vandana” by the students.
Students presented cultural items which depicted India’s Unity in Diversity.
Vibrant culture of Jammu and Kashmir was the theme of the cultural items.
Tiny Tots of the School presented Fashion Show in a glamourous manner and gathered praises from audience.
Some Karate items were also presented by students with great energy which enthralled the audience.
Prizes were distributed among the students for various achievements throughout the year.
Chief guest in his address praised the “Shemrock” for giving such a stage exposure to all kids and encouraged staff with his words.
Dr Hamidullah Bhat, Chairman India Shiksha Mission and Balwant Thakur, Regional Director Indian Council for Cultural Relations were the guests of honour, who praised the efforts by the Director and Managing Committee of Shemrock International.
