JAMMU, Aug 3: During the ongoing Breastfeeding Week, poster presentation and debate competition were held at CHC Akhnoor.
In both the competition, Shikha Sharma, a para medical student of Trikuta College of Para Medical Science, Jammu undergoing three months practical training at CHC Akhnoor emerged winner.
The prize was given by Simrandeep Singh, District Development Commissioner, Jammu in presence of Sunaina Sharma, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Akhnoor and Dr Vinod Kumar, Block Medical Officer, Akhnoor.
After the programme, District Development Commissioner, Jammu took a round of the hospital and enquired about the working status of different sections of the hospital. He laid emphasis upon Bio-Medical Waste Management and asked the concerned staff for its better management under new guidelines 2016.
The whole camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr Vinod Kumar, Block Medical Officer, Akhnoor and supported by Block Programme Management Unit (NHM), Block Akhnoor.
