JAMMU, Feb 16: Shiksha Niketan Sr. Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar organized a Farewell Party for outgoing students in its premises, here.
lt was an enthusiastic function not only to bid valediction but also to boost the outgoing students to be the meritorious as usual.
The chief guest of the function was the Principal of the school, Rameshwar Mengi and other dignitaries present on the occasion were from R.M. College, R.M. School and SNS Gandhi Nagar.
The students of 10th class who were invited as guests were colorfully dressed.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest along with other guests.
Then there was a bouquet presentation to the chief guest and sapling presentation to other guests.
The programme was proceeded by the Vandana Presentation by the students of 9th class. lt was very marvelously performed filling the atmosphere with the religions thoughts.
PK Dhar, Principal RM College and Kiran of SNS Gandhi Nagar addressed the students on the occasion.
A skit staged by the students of 9th class based on the theme of “Avoiding discrimination of the girls”.
Then a Western dance item was performed by the boys and Girls of 9th class in a thrilling way, which was followed by Bhangra, wherein both the boys and the girls danced in a very energetic way. They rocked on the stage.
Finally, Rameshwar Mengi blessed the students. He encouraged them by giving the examples of the previous meritorious students.
