JAMMU, Feb 19: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar celebrated its 30th Foundation Day with great pomp and show, here today.
The Day was celebrated for the whole week which started on February 14 and culminated today wherein ex-Teachers of the School, Meenakshi Gupta and P K Dhar (ex Principal RM College) were the chief guests. They thanked the management for the invitation and shared their experiences in the School. The students were very excited to perform as after a very long time they participated physically in a cultural activity in the School premises.
Principal Rameshwar Mengi talked about the founder Principal Dev Dutt Mengi who was the epitome of grit, integrity and the person of colossal stature.
At the end, Harish Sharma, Headmaster of the School gave a vote of thanks and lunch was provided by the management to all the staff members of the School.
