Shiksha Niketan holds Mind Wars School Quiz contest

JAMMU, Feb 16: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jammu organised ‘Mind Wars School Quiz contest’. Mind Wars School Quiz Contest is India’s Largest School -Quiz Series to be conducted across India in more than 100 cities.
There were two rounds of the contest. In the preliminary round, students from Class 6 to 10 featuring a “Pen-Paper Test” of 20 Questions (MCQ’s) based on GK and Current Affairs were to be answered in 20 Minutes.
In Round -II the top 12 performers of the preliminary round will form six teams of two members each. The “Final Part” will be a “60 Minutes quiz” created by the “Mind Wars Contest Team” covering General Knowledge and Current Affairs. In the last Merit Certificates were awarded to the finalising contestants’ and cash vouchers for the winners were announced by the representatives of Mind Wars.
Principal Rameshwar Mengi impressed upon the school teachers to motivate more and more students to take part in such competitive events.
