Shiksha Niketan organises Inter-School Rangoli competition

JAMMU, Nov 25: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar organised Inter-School Rangoli Competition, here today.
Various schools participated in the competition and the participating schools included Blooming Dales, Carmel Convent, SD Tara Puri School Public School, RM Public School and Shiksha Niketan Gandhi Nagar.
The competition began with the lightning of ceremonial lamp and a welcome dance. The dance was performed by the students of class 6th. The competition was conducted under the supervision of Main In-charge Nirmal Sharma, Middle In-charge Madhuri Malhotra and Coordinator of class 6th, Ramanjeet Kour.
The students from different schools made beautiful Rangolies with bright colours. The theme of this competition was “Save Our Planet”, while the aim of this competition was to make the students aware about saving earth by performing their duties properly.
The first position was bagged by the students of RM Public School, while the second position was claimed by the students of Shiksha Niketan High School Gandhi Nagar and the third position went to the students of Carmel Convent School Kunjwani Jammu.
Rameshwar Mengi, Principal of the school lauded the efforts of the students and staff for their good show.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ramanjeet Kour, Coordinator of class 6th.
