JAMMU, Nov 17: Congress party candidate from Jammu West constituency Surinder Singh Shingari vowed for holistic development of the constituency if voted to power.
He said this, while addressing public meetings in Janipur, Patoli Magrotian, Sarwal Chowk, Bhagwati Nagar and other areas of the Jammu West constituency. Shingari was accompanied by Anil Chopra, District President Jammu Urban.
Chopra while speaking highlighted the achievements of Congress during the past six years and impressed upon the gathering that it was the Congress which gave stability in J&K.
Later, SS Shingari also attended a public meeting at Dewak Community Hall Janipur which was organized by Purshotam Verma, Harjeet Singh Baggi and Dr Suresh Abrol and attended by hundred of Congress party workers and local populace.
While speaking, Shingari assured the gathering that he will leave no stone unturned to ensure development of each and every areas of the constituency.
Shanti Gupta, senior Congress leader also addressed the gathering.
Meanwhile, a deputation of Christian community including senior Priest of the community met Surinder Singh Shingari and extended full support on behalf of community. Large number of workers along with State President of NSUI also extended support to Surinder Singh Shingari in the ensuing Assembly election.
