Shishu Mandir High School celebrates annual day

JAMMU, May 26: Shishu Mandir High School, Rani Talab, Digiana celebrated its annual day with pomp and show at Police Auditorium, here today.
On the occasion, Natha Ram Dhingra, Chief Education Officer was the chief guest, while DySP Sandeep Mahta and Santokh Singh, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Gandhi Nagar were the guest of honours. Avatar Singh Khalsa, Founder of the institute and Kamal Gupta, president, Private School Association presided over the function.
A colourful cultural programme was presented by the student of the school, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
A short play “It’s all about Girls” based on women foeticide was also performed on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Natha Ram Dhingra said that these types of cultural activities bring best out of the student.
In the end, Tajinder Singh awarded Rs 500 to students, who secured distinction in the recently declared board result.
