Shiv Sena protests against hefty charging at smart parking

JAMMU, Mar 30: Shiv Sena J&K here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of Manish Sahni, Shiv Sena J&K president.
The protesters flayed the Government for allegedly selling the roads of Jammu in the name of smart parking.
They raised slogans and held placards with ‘Stop Selling Jammu’ etc written on them.
“People of J&K are waiting for developments but are being crushing under the burden of toll plazas, smart meters and now smart parking,” Sahni said while addressing the protesters.
He said that no stone is being left unturned by the authorities to allegedly loot the public of J&K.
“With toll plazas, electricity smart meters and now smart parking, the administration of J&K is making all efforts to facilitate the contractors,” Sahni maintained adding that Rs.120 are being charged for just three hours at these smart parking slots.
Shiv Sena women wing president, Meenakshi Chibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; G.I Singh, chairman; Rakesh Gupta, vice president and others were also present on the occasion.
