Shiv Sena protests against inflation

JAMMU, Sept 2: Those who claimed ‘Sab Ka Vikas’ have only given inflation during their regime making it difficult for a common man to manage two-time meal.
This was stated by Manish Sahni, J&K president of Shiv Sena ‘Bala Saheb Thackeray’ during a protest rally against hike in LPG prices by another Rs. 25.
The protesters raised slogans against skyrocketing inflation and burnt the effigy of a gas cylinder to highlight the problem.
Talking to reporters, Sahni said that BJP Government is constantly setting new records in inflation.
“Those who showed dream of ‘Acche Din’ are even making the essential commodities costly for the general public,” he maintained adding that after petrol crossing Rs. 100 price mark, cooking gas is moving towards Rs. 1000 mark.
The Shiv Sena leader also said that same is the condition of food items, vegetables, fruits, pulses, mustard oil etc wherein the mustard oil has reached Rs. 200 a litre.
He appealed PM Modi to provide relief to the public from the rising prices of essential commodities.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; vice president, Sandeep Bhagat; Vikas Dewan, secretary; Geeta Lakhotra, president R.S Pura; Balbir Singh, Parveen Kumar, Raj Kumari, president Kamghar; Raj Singh, Balbir Singh, Vishwa Kasolia, Pawan, Dimple and others were also present in the protest.
