JAMMU, Mar 26: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta here today staged a protest demonstration against the statements of National Conference leader, Akbar Lone for raising pro-Pakistan slogans.
The protesters also burnt his (Lone’s) photographs.
It is pertinent to mention here that during a rally Lone had raised pro-Pakistan slogans and had said that he would abuse anyone who abuses Pakistan.
“An FIR should be registered against Lone for this anti-national activity,” Ashok Gupta said while addressing the protesters.
“Last year too Lone had raised pro-Pakistan slogans in the Assembly and keeping in mind his activities he should be prosecuted under sedition charges,” Gupta maintained.
He further said that Lone should be barred from contesting elections for his seditious remarks.
Those who were present in the protest were Sarpanch Lal Singh, Geeta, Ashish, Ashu, Kalu, Nikku, Parkash, Abhishek and others.
