JAMMU, Dec 29: Police arrested a shopkeeper along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, a police team conducted raid in a general store shop at village Kadirpur and recovered 56 pouches of illicit liquor from the shop.
Police arrested the shopkeeper, who has been identified as Jarnail Singh alias Jumma, son of Jiva Singh.
He has been handed over to police station Arnia for further legal action under law.
The raid was conducted by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu Romesh Kotwal.
