JAMMU, Aug 5: The people from Samba town and adjoining villages are facing shortage of LPG cylinders in Samba for the last couple of months.
Long queues are always witnessed at the main Mansar gas agency of HP company in the town where consumers reach even early in the morning to get gas cylinder. They are made to wait for hours together to get a cylinder. The people coming from adjoining villages have to spend even the entire day in getting a gas cylinder. There is another gas agency on border road on the out skirts of the town but the rush of consumers is also witnessed there. The consumers alleged black marketing and urged upon the district authorities to monitor the public distribution system in the town.
