JAMMU, Mar 6: Outplaying their respective rivals in the all important contests, Shray Mahajan and Ajay Kapoor won the Senior and Veteran titles respectively in the Jammu Open Squash Championship, organized by J&K Squash Rackets Association, which concluded at Jammu Club, here.
In the Senior category , Shray Mahajan trounced Imran Ahmed by (3-2) sets to emerge winner, while Imran remained runners-up. The third place was claimed by Sanchit in this category.
In Veteran category, Ajay Kapoor got better of Imran Ahmed to win the title, while the third lace was bagged by Krishan Kumar.
Meanwhile, in Junior category, Shivang defeated Neetak to lift the title, while Avenjit Singh bagged the third spot.
Kamal Singh, Manager SBI Life Branch Kathua was the chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Arshad Khan, Sr Vice President J&K Squash Rackets Association, Mr Jamil, Col Jasrotia, Jogoinder Singh and Jugal.
The Championship was held under the supervision of G.S.Bakshi, general secretary , J&K Squash Rackets Association.
