JAMMU, June 2: The management and the staff of Shree Toyota, Jammu, had an interactive session on water conservation at Toyota showroom, Narwal.
As part of the CSR activity Shree Toyota has extended its support to the movement ‘Pledge To Save Water’ initiated by Let’s Do It Jammu. Let’s Do It Jammu, an organisation inspired by Lets do it world! , instigated the movement, Pledge To Save Water aiming to bring Jammu people together in conserving the precious source; water.
Manik Batra, Director Shree Toyota said, “It is a wonderful initiative by Let’s Do It Jammu to make people aware of such a valued resource of nature. Reaching out to people and making them pledge for the cause shows their commitment and concern for making people cognizant for water conservation. I extend my wishes and full support to the campaign.”
Ms Sana Dua, Femina Style Diva 2016, brand ambassador of the movement was the guest of the day along with Ms Payal Jain, Creative Head- Projects and Planning. Sana Dua and Payal Jain had an interactive session with the staff on water conservation.
“I am so glad to be part of the project and this is the need of the hour. We live in a water stressed world, and the water resources are under tremendous pressure from a growing population, on-going development, pollution, wetland destruction, alien invasive plants and the effects of global warming. Predictions are that the demand for water will outstrip supply by 2025. The only answer to this dilemma lies in changing people’s attitude and thus their behaviour to use water more wisely. I hope more and more people come forward and join the movement”, Sana Dua, brand ambassador to Pledge To Save Water said on the occasion.
“When you decide to join Pledge To Save Water Movement you are making a commitment to save water by all means. And as a token of appreciation, once you join in the movement, you will get an official certificate with your name on it acknowledging your understanding and concern for water conservation and the same will be a reminding you of the commitment you are making to yourself and to the world,” said Payal Jain.
