JAMMU, Feb 23: Shreya Gupta, a sixth class student of Presentation Convent School, has brought laurels to her School and the State by winning two medals in the 17th Sub-junior and 12th Cadet National Fencing Championships at Maharashtra, recently.
With this performance, she has qualified for playing in the Sub-Junior Internationals.
In the team event of sabre category, Shreya won a bronze medal and in the individual category, she won silver.
Shreya has been continuously participating and winning medals for the State at National Level in last few years, under the guidance of chief coach, Chotu Lal and Ujwal Gupta.
She won silver medal in individual U-14 category in XVII Sub Junior and XII Cadet Fencing National championship, won bronze medal in team event of Under-14 category and participated in 61st National School Games 2015-2016 held at Bhopal , Madhya Pradesh from December 30, 2015 an GGot Consolation Prize.
