JAMMU, Nov 19: The Shri Ram Universal School celebrated its 5th Founder’s Day amidst great splendour, mirth and zest, here today.
Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sheelam Seth, CEO Shri Educare Limited Delhi was the guest of honour.
Among other dignitaries present were Rajender Shah, vice president (Operations), SEL, Ishita Sanyal, Dy Gen Manager (Operations) and Shweta Bhagria, Mentor Shri Educare Limited, Members of School Management Committee, Dr KCS Mehta, Principal IDPS Akhnoor, Rohini Aima, Principal Jammu Sanskriti School and Sanjeev Pradhan, Principal APS Samba.
The programme commenced with the welcome note by the Principal, Col VK Sharma (Retd). In his address, the Principal briefly shared the history of the School by highlighting the achievements and the growth registered by the School since its inception in 2018 till date.
A cultural programme based on the theme “Sanskaar- Learn to value the values of life” was collectively put up by the students during the event.
The chief guest in his address emphasised the fact that progress of any State is a reflection of the level and quality of the education imparted. He further appreciated the contribution made by the School in a short span of time.
Sheelam Seth, in his thoughts with the audience, strongly advocated exercising patient listening, maturity to handle diversity and building a strong and effective team.
Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman of the School expressed his gratitude to the parents for their cooperation and reposing the faith in the School as well as the management at SEL for their direct involvement and the efforts put in by the teachers and administrative staff of the School.
The Chairman along with Rajni Gupta, Director felicitated the dignitaries, while Shivani Vaid Sharma, Headmistress presented the vote of thanks.
