JAMMU, Feb 20: Shri Ram School celebrated a programme at school premises, here today. The programme reflected on the Dogra Culture and touched upon various aspects which the present generation is unaware and ignorant about.
Kewal Krishan, CEO District Samba was Chief Guest on the occasion. There were several other dignitaries including the head of educational institutions and parents who witnessed the function. Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman
and Rajni Gupta, Director of the school felicitated the guests by presenting them souvenirs to remind them of their association with the school.
Principal, Colonel VK Sharma (Retd) drove home the message that the annual school function is not just a gathering but a celebration of accomplishments, creativity, and unity within the school community. He was impressed upon that such activities offer a comprehensive learning experience and foster skill development in several areas that formal education may not address.
On the second half of the day, Umesh Sharma, SDM Vijaypur was present there as Chief Guest for the event. The excitement reached its zenith when the Chief Guest took out the lucky draw and handed over the prizes to the winners. First Prize (43″ LED) was claimed by Ticket No 4625 Second Prize (Refrigerator) went to the holder of Ticket No 6768, Third Prize (Semi-automatic Washing Machine) went to the bearer of Ticket No 6495 and there were several other attractive prizes given to the ticket holders.
