JAMMU, Feb 16: Shri Ram Universal School hosted its flagship event, “All about India,” a vibrant celebration of the nation’s rich cultural diversity. The event transformed the campus into an immersive experience, with each corner adorned by student-created artwork, state-specific decorations, mascots, and regional delicacies, showcasing India’s unique heritage.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including DIG Jammu, Shiv Kumar, who praised the creativity and dedication of the students and staff. Other notable attendees included Ajay Sharma, SP South Jammu; Ekshu Sharma, Assistant Director Handicraft Samba; Kewal Krishan, CEO Samba; Shilpa Dubey, DDC Member Vijaypur; Dr. Dinesh Rao, HOD Forensic Medicine AIIMS and Dr. Rajan Badyal, PRO Central University.
A key highlight was the skit on Maha Kumbh, which depicted the cultural and historical significance of the Kumbh Mela. Live stage performances showcased traditional dance forms from across India, while a thought-provoking natak on a drug-free India spread awareness among attendees.
The event was a resounding success, with parents and guests commending the school for its meticulous planning and emphasis on cultural unity. “All About India” not only celebrated the country’s heritage but also instilled a deep sense of national pride and belonging among students and the wider school community.
