Shrine Board for Raghunath Mandir demanded

JAMMU, Mar 1: A delegation of Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir Sewa Samiti (SRMSS) today met K.K Sharma and K. Skandan, Advisors to Governor and submitted a memorandum demanding Shrine Board for all temples in J&K.
The delegation apprised the Advisors about the alleged malpractice by some elements in maintaining the temples in J&K State.
Delegation members said that such wrong practises included selling of land belonging to different temples in J&K and demanded independent commission to audit all the land and property belonging to the organisation managing these temples prior to 1947.
The Advisors after listening to the delegation said SRMSS’s memorandum will be forwarded to Law Secretary for early redressal.
The delegation comprised of Rajiv Mahajan, president SRMSS; Kernail Chand, general secretary; Pritam Sharma and others.
